Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Osorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 12 minutes, Osvaldo Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VenturaJr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, VenturaJr's goalkeeper Rene Froylan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Abascal. When Cayetano Gipuzkoa fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VenturaJr's protests and gave Cayetano Gipuzkoa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sporting Club Victoria booed when VenturaJr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rene Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Osvaldo Osorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Osvaldo Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Osorio made the kick off in the second half. When Carlos Abascal came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Sporting Club Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Abascal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Osorio in the 56th minute of play forced Sporting Club Victoria's goalkeeper Jonathan Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Arnaldo Tristan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Pedro Napier in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Club Victoria's Cayetano Goiz. Sporting Club Victoria's Jonathan Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Osorio in the 71st minute of play. VenturaJr's Arnaldo Tristan got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-3 became the score in the 77th minute when Osvaldo Osorio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sporting Club Victoria's Jonathan Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Tristan in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute VenturaJr were awarded a corner. Paulino Santxol went to the cornerflag to take it. Pedro Napier made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Club Victoria's Carlos Abascal. Jonathan Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Arnaldo Tristan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of VenturaJr echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sporting Club Victoria had held the ball for most of the match.
