Gogo Matteo hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Amadeo Tristan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Bizi. Estudiantes LP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Tristan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Norberto Quintun lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Norberto Quintun hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Ezequiel Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Tristan was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Suciedad's Amado Pio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dalmacio Bizi. That made the score 0-3 after 51 minutes of play. If Ubaldo Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Aldo Erauso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes LP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Real Suciedad's attentive Ezequiel Berdaitz managed to snatch the ball when Everardo Dalmu made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Ulises Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ezequiel Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Suciedad's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Berdaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Bizi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, Amadeo Tristan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dalmacio Bizi. Amadeo Tristan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 95 minutes into the game, Real Suciedad's Amadeo Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Bizi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Real Suciedad's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
