Leonardo Orlanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Mazuste charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Mazuste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julio Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Leonardo Orlanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Tristan in the 11th minute of the match. Leonardo Orlanda came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Suciedad's Roberto Cabañas. But to his dismay, Roberto Cabañas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Chorrillo's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Elazar came free, but Leonardo Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Cresenciano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cyryl Skonieczny firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cyryl Skonieczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Roberto Cabañas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Cresenciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cyryl Skonieczny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Cresenciano ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lino Argenis fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorrillo's protests and gave Lino Argenis a yellow card for diving instead. Ezequiel Berdaitz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 40th match minute, Chorrillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Eladio to maneuver through the defense.

Leonardo Orlanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Tristan in the 55th minute of play. Lisandro Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Skonieczny having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Chorrillo's Lisandro Cresenciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyryl Skonieczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lisandro Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Skonieczny having to interfere. Lisandro Cresenciano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lisandro Cresenciano struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Cyryl Skonieczny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorrillo. 71 minutes into the match, Roberto Cabañas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Orlanda. Chorrillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Cabañas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 74 minutes into the match, Chorrillo's goalkeeper Leonardo Orlanda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Cabañas. Tadeo Caton hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Real Suciedad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Tristan to maneuver through the defense. Chorrillo's Leonardo Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Tristan in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute Roberto Cabañas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Tristan in the 89th minute of play forced Chorrillo's goalkeeper Leonardo Orlanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Leonardo Orlanda made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Lisandro Cresenciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Suciedad had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
