La Guardia Imperial's Gartxot Catalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Lekubegi in the 31st minute of play. Urbano Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anselmo Lekubegi made the kick off in the second half. Gartxot Catalan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Teofilo Naldo sent off a good shot on target. If Teofilo Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Maschwitz Club Tricolor's zone, Ştefan Bratoloveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Lon came out of the goal and Ştefan Bratoloveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Bratoloveanu in the 62nd minute of play forced Maschwitz Club Tricolor's goalkeeper Elvio Lon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Filip Surdu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Maschwitz Club Tricolor's Elvio Lon. Elvio Lon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofilo Naldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartxot Catalan having to interfere. In the 78th minute Esteve Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, La Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Che to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Gartxot Catalan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Naldo. Filip Surdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maschwitz Club Tricolor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
