Javier Mergildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Faustão Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. OnCe PeRrOs 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Mon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Beliran kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Eloy Mon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 23rd minute Anacleto Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Luciano Buinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in VELEZ's zone, Luciano Buinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Mon came out of the goal and Luciano Buinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of OnCe PeRrOs 11 booed when VELEZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Feliberto Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, VELEZ's Eloy Mon got control of the ball when Mauro Mark tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Feliberto Guillen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OnCe PeRrOs 11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VELEZ the free kick. Antonio Rik struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Javier Mergildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VELEZ. After a rather tough play, VELEZ's Anacleto Tibalt got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Guillen made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind VELEZ's goalkeeper Eloy Mon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaias Laurin scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eloy Mon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eloy Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Buinton in the 62nd minute of play. Eloy Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Laurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, VELEZ's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Laurin came free, but Eloy Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Antonio Rik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Mergildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Laurin in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, VELEZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Beliran to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Dionisio Beliran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VELEZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OnCe PeRrOs 11 the free kick. Isaias Laurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Mon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Guillen in the 92nd minute of play forced VELEZ's goalkeeper Eloy Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OnCe PeRrOs 11's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Bero in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. VELEZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
