After a rather tough play, Molinari's Robertinho Robert got a free kick in the 3rd minute. VELEZ's Rafael Etxekopar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joel Ioritz but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Sanchez in the 12th minute of play forced VELEZ's goalkeeper Eloy Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Efrain Corderun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VELEZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Antonio Rik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Ioritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Tibalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Corderun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Ioritz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Antonio Rik sent off a good shot on target. VELEZ were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Molinari's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Etxekopar took the corner. After taking down the ball on VELEZ's corner Hilario Mikelats fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Ioritz quite easily take care of the ball. Eloy Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Joó, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Molinari's Joel Ioritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Corderun in the 39th minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Molinari's Alejo Sanchez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Mon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Alejo Sanchez made the kick off in the second half. Efrain Corderun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Ioritz having to make a save. VELEZ's Antonio Rik got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VELEZ's Eloy Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Sanchez in the 69th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Molinari got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Sanchez. Joel Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Corderun in the 72nd minute of the match. Robertinho Robert kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Guaberto Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Ioritz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efrain Corderun went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Albino Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Joel Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Rik in the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Molinari getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Robertinho Robert hit a great ball. Eloy Mon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Sanchez in the 96th minute. Molinari's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
