In the 16th minute, one of Maschwitz Club Tricolor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maschwitz Club Tricolor. João Francisco Jacinto placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Romulo Herrera was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 27 minutes of play Maschwitz Club Tricolor's Hernan Sotero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Maschwitz Club Tricolor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soledad AFC:s goal. Elvio Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Romulo Herrera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elvio Lon. The goal made the score 3-1. After some careless play in the Maschwitz Club Tricolor defense, Eustaquio Lucado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Lon. The Maschwitz Club Tricolor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Lon should have stopped the shot. Eustaquio Lucado struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Elvio Lon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soledad AFC. Elvio Lon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Lucado's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.
