Ciudadela FC's Higinio Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Aztore in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Cangrejos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Cordarin came free, but Leo Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cangrejos AFC's Vinicio Diaz got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Gonzalo Gonchan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cangrejos AFC's Leo Celipe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Gonzalo Gonchan made a precise shot to the right of Leo Celipe. Cangrejos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Higinio Liberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Leite in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Cangrejos AFC's Dênis Leite made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Liberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cangrejos AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vinicio Diaz hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Damaso Pasqual sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Celipe skillfully saved the ball. After 27 played minutes Ciudadela FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Macias. Leo Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Ekaitz in the 30th minute of play. Dênis Leite hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Ekaitz in the 32nd minute of play forced Cangrejos AFC's goalkeeper Leo Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Romeo Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Liberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Cangrejos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Gonchan came free, but Leo Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Gonchan in the 38th minute of play. Higinio Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Ciudadela FC's goalkeeper Higinio Liberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Tono. Higinio Liberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Tono in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Cangrejos AFC's Dênis Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Liberto. Higinio Liberto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Teodosio Ekaitz made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Pasqual got free with Leo Celipe in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cangrejos AFC's Leo Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Ekaitz in the 52nd minute of play. Teodosio Ekaitz took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Celipe. Leo Celipe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Damaso Pasqual's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Leo Celipe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dênis Leite scored 3-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Liberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leo Celipe had great luck who in the 64thth minute grab hold of the ball when Teodosio Ekaitz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 65 minutes Cangrejos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damaso Pasqual who took care of the corner kick. Damaso Pasqual made a great header on Ciudadela FC's corner, it was just that Cangrejos AFC's Leo Celipe managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Ekaitz in the 67th minute of play forced Cangrejos AFC's goalkeeper Leo Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Pasqual's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Celipe firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 81st minute, Romeo Tono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cangrejos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. With an all-out effort, Ciudadela FC's Leo Celipe threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodosio Ekaitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ciudadela FC's Gonzalo Gonchan suffered a concussion in the 89th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Vinicio Diaz was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 90 played minutes Cangrejos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Diaz. The long shot by Damaso Pasqual in the 91st minute really tested Leo Celipe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Higinio Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Aztore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Ciudadela FC's Leo Celipe threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eloy Cordarin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ciudadela FC's Eloy Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciudadela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
