The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Aballe got free with Prudencio Remicio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celedonio Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Remicio having to interfere. Prudencio Remicio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Aballe in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Famih Chai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Cuarto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Famih Chai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Remicio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bristol City booed when Rio Cuarto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bristol City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alejo Gelmiro hit a great ball. Obi Wan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prudencio Remicio. Bristol City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ismael Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Prudencio Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Famih Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Cuarto FC's goalkeeper Nicasio Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael Aballe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Prudencio Remicio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ismael Aballe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Rio Cuarto FC's Ismael Aballe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Remicio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Prudencio Remicio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Aballe in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ismael Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Fabio Kaiet made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Bristol City's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Aballe came free, but Prudencio Remicio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ismael Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prudencio Remicio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The corner ended in Obi Wan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bristol City's Prudencio Remicio did a great save. Bristol City's Prudencio Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Aballe in the 62nd minute of play. When Rio Cuarto FC's Ismael Aballe in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Celedonio Gonzales fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Cuarto FC's protests and gave Celedonio Gonzales a yellow card for diving instead. Celedonio Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Bristol City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Guipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Obi Wan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Cuarto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Obi Wan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Danilo Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bristol City's Gavino Tano got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ismael Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bristol City's Prudencio Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obi Wan in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Aballe in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Remicio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prudencio Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Aballe in the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rio Cuarto FC had played much better football throughout.
