CLATHU's Jacobo Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Admon in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of CLATHU booed when BACO TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Hipolito Mel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Izotz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute, Adrian Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Americo Rozarius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Izotz was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, BACO TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Rozarius came free, but Sixto Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Lisandro Quaresma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CLATHU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Esteban Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Americo Rozarius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Izotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Americo Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Izotz having to interfere. CLATHU's Lisandro Quaresma pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Santiago Laurentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Laurentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. CLATHU's Bernabe Tono was substituted for Lisandro Quaresma. Santiago Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Americo Rozarius came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the CLATHU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Rozarius couldn't finish the play. Sixto Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Tono in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Fagildo was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the BACO TEAM defense, Bernabe Tono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Izotz. The BACO TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Izotz should have stopped the shot. If Americo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the game, Benedicto Fagildo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BACO TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLATHU the free kick. Bernabe Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Izotz having to interfere. Simon Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, CLATHU's Hipolito Mel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 71st minute, Americo Rozarius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CLATHU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. If Americo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CLATHU's Erubiel Aureo was substituted for Rosendo Unax. After having played for 84 minutes, Bernabe Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLATHU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Tono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Americo Rozarius fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 86 minutes, Americo Rozarius made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. BACO TEAM's Sixto Izotz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. CLATHU played a much better game than BACO TEAM and deserved their victory. The BACO TEAM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
