To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Santos Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Drugi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Jon in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Miguel Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Leocadio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Leocadio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Lorien in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MegaDeth's Niceto Obano got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Niceto Obano fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MegaDeth's protests and gave Niceto Obano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Niceto Obano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MegaDeth's Kazimierz Drugi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Bero in the 28th minute of play. Alonzo Leocadio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, MegaDeth's goalkeeper Kazimierz Drugi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Jon. Alonzo Leocadio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Cutberto in the 34th minute of the match. Jurand Charlap charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mateo Cutberto took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Leocadio. Alonzo Leocadio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Newpee's zone, Cipriano Lorien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Leocadio came out of the goal and Cipriano Lorien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipriano Lorien kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alonzo Leocadio. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Mateo Cutberto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 57th playminute. Alonzo Leocadio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Xuereb in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match, Cipriano Lorien tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alonzo Leocadio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65th minute, MegaDeth's Miguel Xuereb ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alonzo Leocadio. Alonzo Leocadio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The supporters of Newpee booed when MegaDeth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Newpee's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Lorien came free, but Alonzo Leocadio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Xuereb scored 0-5 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonzo Leocadio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateo Cutberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. MegaDeth's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
