The supporters of Newpee booed when Facundouba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Jon in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Esquipula saved Facundouba FC from getting behind. Norberto Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Newpee's Alonzo Leocadio got control of the ball when Isaias Amaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaias Amaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alonzo Leocadio made a huge save. Santos Uhin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Efrain Esquipula came out of the goal and Zacarias Jon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Maximo Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Zacarias Jon put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Efrain Esquipula. When Bernardino Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Newpee fans jumped to their feet. Bernardino Ortzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Esquipula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Ortzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Newpee's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
