The audience was convinced that Mateo Cutberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Esquipula was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Facundouba FC's Melchor Gorka got a free kick in the 18th minute. Efrain Esquipula stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Cutberto's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Miguel Xuereb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Esquipula was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Miguel Xuereb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MegaDeth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After having played for 29 minutes, Cipriano Lorien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MegaDeth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Lorien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, MegaDeth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Quico to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Emesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kazimierz Drugi. MegaDeth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Efrain Esquipula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Lorien in the 37th minute of the match. Isaias Amaya hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Facundouba FC's Efrain Esquipula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Xuereb in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Facundouba FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Gorka. After 45 minutes of play, MegaDeth's Mateo Cutberto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Esquipula was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Norberto Montxo made the kick off in the second half. Efrain Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Xuereb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Miguel Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Esquipula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Cutberto in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Efrain Esquipula, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Miguel Xuereb put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Efrain Esquipula. After a defensive mix-up in Facundouba FC's zone, Cipriano Lorien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Esquipula came out of the goal and Cipriano Lorien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Esquipula was a little too slow when Miguel Xuereb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 74th minute Miguel Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Esquipula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Severo Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes, Natalio Lehen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Facundouba FC and the MegaDeth players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Facundouba FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Natalio Lehen hit a great ball. Miguel Xuereb was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. MegaDeth's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Efrain Esquipula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Xuereb in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Amaya in the 91st minute of play forced MegaDeth's goalkeeper Kazimierz Drugi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Esquipula having to interfere. When the match was over MegaDeth could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Facundouba FC throughout the match.
