With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Obano in the 22nd minute of the match. If Fabian Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cervantes de Saavedra's Eulalio Silbestre got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eulalio Silbestre fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cervantes de Saavedra's protests and gave Eulalio Silbestre a yellow card for diving instead. Eulalio Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Cervantes de Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Gumaro. Anselmo Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Obano in the 28th minute of the match. Anselmo Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Obano in the 30th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Nicholas made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Cervantes de Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Silviano. After having played for 52 minutes, Fabian Obano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salta Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Obano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stéphane Le Thiec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Stéphane Le Thiec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 played minutes Cervantes de Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Silviano. In the 79th minute, Gavra Parezanović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cervantes de Saavedra reached it. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Nicholas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Teodor was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
