Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Cervantes de Saavedra's Feliciano Nicholas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cervantes de Saavedra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evaristo Criston was slow to take the kick. During this time Salta Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Anselmo Calvino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cervantes de Saavedra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Laureano Felipo scored to the left of an out of position Anselmo Calvino, making the score, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Laureano Felipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Nicholas in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Teodor saved Salta Futbol Club from getting behind. Laureano Felipo in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Calvino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Celestino Crescencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Laureano Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salta Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Calvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 29 in the game by Laureano Felipo from a close distance when the talented Anselmo Calvino managed to make a qualified save. Cervantes de Saavedra's players were relieved. After 30 minutes of play, Salta Futbol Club's Laureano Felipo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Calvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Flavio Mede came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Salta Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Mede couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Laureano Felipo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anselmo Calvino. Laureano Felipo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Laureano Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Calvino having to interfere. Anselmo Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Raymon during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feliciano Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Mede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Calvino came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Salta Futbol Club's Evaristo Criston. But to his dismay, Evaristo Criston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Salta Futbol Club's zone, Feliciano Nicholas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Teodor came out of the goal and Feliciano Nicholas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Flavio Mede came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Salta Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Mede couldn't finish the play. Laureano Felipo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Florencio Froila hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Salta Futbol Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
