The referee ignored Moreno's protests and gave Serafino Ferran a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Ferran. Guillermo Gorosti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fermin Taurino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Ferrer got free with Fermin Taurino in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Gorosti came free, but Fermin Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Moreno's goalkeeper Fermin Taurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lindo Trollo. Victor Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fulgencio Ferrer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fermin Taurino. That made the score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. Lindo Trollo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fermin Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campeones del Mundo. 83 minutes into the match, Victor Theobald notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon. Daniel Igon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafino Ferran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Moreno's Ricardo Tiadoro got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Gorosti got free with Fermin Taurino in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Guillermo Gorosti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Ferran in the 94th minute of play. Campeones del Mundo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
