Elvio Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Egusquiza's zone, Elvio Bastiaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Orixe came out of the goal and Elvio Bastiaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Nils Marques III made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Orixe. Egusquiza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Bastiaro in the 23rd minute of play forced Egusquiza's goalkeeper Lorenzo Orixe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Egusquiza's Lorenzo Orixe got control of the ball when Nils Marques III tried to sneak it across the goal line.
