Fermin Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Galagan in the 2nd minute of the match. Leon Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Quico in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Quico in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Ado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Lucescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Teobald Galagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moreno's Fermin Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Galagan in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Ricardo Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Celedonio Bertran came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Argentinos Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Bertran couldn't finish the play. Froilan Macario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Fermin Taurino made a huge save. Moreno's Fermin Taurino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Moreno from getting a goal against them. Fermin Taurino made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Froilan Macario sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Froilan Macario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fermin Taurino. Moreno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Macario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Celso Cilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentinos Juniors the free kick. In the 26th minute, Celso Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Teobald Galagan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fermin Taurino. Moreno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobald Galagan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Moreno's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Teobald Galagan scored to the left of an out of position Fermin Taurino, making the score, 3-0. Felix Lucescu struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fermin Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentinos Juniors. Froilan Macario succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 42nd playminute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobald Galagan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fermin Taurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Teobald Galagan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobald Galagan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Froilan Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Taurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Lucescu in the 58th minute of play. Fermin Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Galagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Moreno getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ricardo Tiadoro hit a great ball. Argentinos Juniors's Ariel Sayvion got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Macario came free, but Fermin Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Galagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Teobald Galagan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Taurino was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. But to his dismay, Teobald Galagan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Fermin Taurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Lucescu in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Lucescu came free, but Fermin Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celedonio Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Taurino came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentinos Juniors's Teobald Galagan. But to his dismay, Teobald Galagan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argentinos Juniors had played much better football throughout.
