The coaching staff of Bonpland protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rolando Boniel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 54th minute, one of Bonpland:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bonpland. 白竞笑 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonpland's Maximino Amaya was substituted for Gilberto Nerio. In the 64th minute Deportivo Villa were awarded a corner. Álvaro Dracena went to the cornerflag to take it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Lia couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Bonpland's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Maiorga came free, but 白竞笑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Deportivo Villa's Raul Maiorga made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 白竞笑 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fidel Lia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Villa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bonpland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
