Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dalmacio Shepherd started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Amado Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huemul AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Tirso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Orixe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amado Tirso might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Orixe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Tirso ran back to his position shaking his head. Pang Yin struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Lorenzo Orixe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huemul AFC. Pang Yin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Egusquiza fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Huemul AFC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sergio Phelipe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Egusquiza's Lorenzo Orixe. 0-2. Lorenzo Orixe came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Huemul AFC's Pang Yin. But to his dismay, Pang Yin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Amado Tirso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Orixe having to make a save. When Victor Santos fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egusquiza's protests and gave Victor Santos a yellow card for diving instead. 43 minutes into the match, Amado Tirso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Orixe. Egusquiza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Tirso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Pang Yin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Orixe having to interfere. After the first half Huemul AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Tirso was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Pang Yin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Felix Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Dionisio Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Sagrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Lundgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huemul AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egusquiza the free kick. If Pang Yin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amado Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Huemul AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Tirso couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Egusquiza's goalkeeper Lorenzo Orixe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pang Yin. In the 71st minute Dionisio Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Sagrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Marcelino Benitez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Huemul AFC's Karl-Ove Lundgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lorenzo Orixe made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Pang Yin sent off a good shot on target. Amado Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huemul AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
