Eloy Saturnin came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Caballo Negro's Artur Van Caels. But to his dismay, Artur Van Caels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cosenza Calcio 1914's Eloy Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Firme in the 11th minute of play. Eloy Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Gonchan in the 12th minute of the match. Eloy Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Herensuge, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Caballo Negro's Artur Van Caels in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eloy Saturnin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octavio Segio's late challenge caught a Cosenza Calcio 1914's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Segio helped the player get up and apologised. The audience held their breath when Gilberto Viator in the 25th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bonifacio Matxin's left hand side. If Iker Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Van Caels in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Saturnin saved Cosenza Calcio 1914 from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Artur Van Caels made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Iker Herensuge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Saturnin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Eloy Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adélio Mota in the 61st minute of the match. Artur Van Caels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Eloy Saturnin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Artur Van Caels had several of the Cosenza Calcio 1914's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Eloy Saturnin as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Adélio Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballo Negro's supporters rose to their feet, but Adélio Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Saturnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adélio Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Saturnin having to interfere. If Adélio Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Caballo Negro's Artur Van Caels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A very good chance for a goal. After 81 minutes, Erubiel Gergori mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosenza Calcio 1914 and the Caballo Negro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Caballo Negro a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iker Herensuge, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cosenza Calcio 1914's Eloy Saturnin. 0-11. With a little luck, Cosenza Calcio 1914's Eloy Saturnin got control of the ball when Iker Herensuge tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Cosenza Calcio 1914 defense, Abel Llorienzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Saturnin. The Cosenza Calcio 1914 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Saturnin should have stopped the shot. Iker Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Adélio Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Caballo Negro's Adélio Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eloy Saturnin. That made the score 0-13 after 98 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Caballo Negro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cosenza Calcio 1914.
