After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Fidel Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Villa's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Lia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Ado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Teobald Galagan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leonardo Loi, passed just outside the right post. In the 18th minute, Froilan Macario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Teobald Galagan had several of the Deportivo Villa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Leonardo Loi as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Teobald Galagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 29 in the game by Teobald Galagan from a close distance when the talented Leonardo Loi managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Villa's players were relieved. When Argentinos Juniors's Teobald Galagan in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Maiorga made a kick off. Álvaro Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Macario. In the 60th minute Froilan Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Argentinos Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Argentinos Juniors's Teobald Galagan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fidel Lia came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leon Ado could save by the left post. When Teobald Galagan came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Argentinos Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobald Galagan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Felix Lucescu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobald Galagan in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Loi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Villa's Leonardo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Galagan in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Deportivo Villa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Villa getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Álvaro Dracena hit a great ball. Teobald Galagan scored 5-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Loi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Villa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
