In the 8th match minute, Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Botello to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Campeones del Mundo's Bernardino Txilar got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Moreno's Fermin Taurino got control of the ball when Christian Cutberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Trollo in the 21st minute of play forced Moreno's goalkeeper Fermin Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Theobald came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lindo Trollo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Ricardo Tiadoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campeones del Mundo the free kick. In the 27th minute, Ricardo Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pedro Kauldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jonatan Ubendu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Campeones del Mundo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Ubendu couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lindo Trollo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Campeones del Mundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lindo Trollo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Taurino was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Campeones del Mundo from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Lindo Trollo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Victor Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Campeones del Mundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Lucila to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Trollo in the 67th minute of play forced Moreno's goalkeeper Fermin Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Cutberto in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Taurino saved Moreno from getting behind. Moreno's Fermin Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cutberto in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Eriberto Quico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moreno and the Campeones del Mundo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Moreno getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eriberto Quico hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Lindo Trollo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campeones del Mundo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 80 minutes into the game, Campeones del Mundo's Uriel Selmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Taurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon got control of the ball when Victor Theobald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fermin Taurino came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Campeones del Mundo's Lindo Trollo. But to his dismay, Lindo Trollo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.
