Pascual Cordarrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pascual Cordarrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Epifanio Nardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Albano Aztore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saverio Calisto hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Albano Aztore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Nardo in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Oxarra got free with Albano Aztore in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascual Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Quinten in the 23rd minute of the match. Jimeno Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cordarrel having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Valentin Frederico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albano Aztore, 2-1. Pascual Cordarrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Quinten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Jimeno Venerando made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pardo's Pascual Cordarrel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cordarrel having to interfere. Pascual Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Egoi to make the kick off. A collision led to Gimnasia L.P. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Silvano Flor hit a great ball. Albano Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Pardo's Pascual Cordarrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Pardo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Gimnasia L.P. booed when Pardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Flor in the 71st minute of play. Jimeno Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pascual Cordarrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gimnasia L.P.'s Constantino Liher broke free in the 81st minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. A long shot from Constantino Liher in the 81st minute of play was well struck, but Pascual Cordarrel made a really good save at the right post. In the 82nd minute of the match Gimnasia L.P. got a corner. Pardo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Constantino Liher ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gimnasia L.P.'s corner Martin Quinten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pascual Cordarrel quite easily take care of the ball. Placido Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cordarrel having to interfere. Saverio Calisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimeno Venerando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascual Cordarrel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. With his leg Pascual Cordarrel managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Gimnasia L.P.'s Jimeno Venerando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jimeno Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pardo's Pascual Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Abascal in the 97th minute of play. Gimnasia L.P.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
