When Marcelino Silviano came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Los Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Silviano couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Formerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Misael in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Leandro Xabier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Justino Dalmau. The goal made the score 1-0. When Francisco Romildo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Los Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. Justino Dalmau made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Samuel Lando sent off a good shot on target. Hermengildo Misael might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Formerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Misael ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Los Diablos Rojos booed when Fumasche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Xabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Dalmau made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Samuel Lando sent off a good shot on target. Fumasche's Reynaldo Formerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Misael in the 35th minute of play. If Moises Eskuin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Dalmau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Formerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Romildo in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Roberto Balasi made the kick off in the second half. Fumasche's Roberto Balasi suffered a sprained foot after 50 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Viator during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Horacio Viator got a free kick in the 51st minute. Marcelino Silviano charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Silviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelino Silviano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Hernan Acosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Cresconio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fumasche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Diablos Rojos the free kick. After 58 played minutes Fumasche got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Cresconio. From close distance Hermengildo Misael pressed in the 1-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 65 minutes into the game. 70 minutes into the game, Fumasche's Edelmiro Corderall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justino Dalmau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Reynaldo Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Misael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, one of Los Diablos Rojos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Diablos Rojos. In the 84th match minute, Los Diablos Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Silviano to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Romildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dominic during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fumasche's Edelmiro Corderall got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Dalmau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Los Diablos Rojos's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Los Diablos Rojos may have spent more time on the ball, but Fumasche were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
