Pascual Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Faro in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Placido Etxahun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Cordarrel. Pardo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Etxahun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Oxarra got free with Ignacio Valery in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacio Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Egoi in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Silvano Bazil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Cordarrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Pardo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eigtheenstars 2 were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Faro to make the kick off. Pardo's Pascual Cordarrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Pardo from getting a goal against them. Ignacio Valery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Egoi's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Pardo's Pascual Cordarrel got control of the ball when Teodosio Abilio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dong Hui Ke charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dong Hui Ke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Jose Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eigtheenstars 2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Mauro Caruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eigtheenstars 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Caruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Cordarrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Pascual Cordarrel managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Eigtheenstars 2's Mauro Caruso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Pardo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eigtheenstars 2 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
