But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Gartzea couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Miramar Celtic F.C. booed when Colodrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Quintyn scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Urdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximino Abarca hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Miramar Celtic F.C.'s Elpidio Costante shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfonso Urdin but with some difficulty. Florencio Tercero's late challenge caught a Colodrero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Tercero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Miramar Celtic F.C.'s Florencio Tercero got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute Valentin Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colodrero FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonio Iyan in the 28th minute. The corner led to Colodrero FC's Conrado Pancho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Edgard Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Mercurio in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Gartzea in the 33rd minute of play forced Miramar Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Florencio Tercero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar Celtic F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Tercero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Tino was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Valentin Mercurio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Mercurio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. In the 62nd minute, Conrado Pancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colodrero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Valentin Mercurio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Colodrero FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 72 played minutes Miramar Celtic F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Tercero. 73 minutes into the match, Miramar Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Mercurio came free, but Edgard Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Gartzea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Edgard Tino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgard Quintyn took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Urdin. Alfonso Urdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Alfonso Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Tercero in the 86th minute of play. Florencio Tercero hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Luisito Gartzea came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Colodrero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Gartzea couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, Valentin Mercurio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgard Tino. Valentin Mercurio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. After a rather tough play, Colodrero FC's Anselmo Millan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Colodrero FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
