The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Gaitan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Henry came out of the goal and Cornelio Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes LA RIBERA got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Jaunzuria. Soccer City FC's Astor Hunfredo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jithu Keng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jithu Keng received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Henry came out and tried to block the shot, but Jithu Keng slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 88th minute. Cornelio Claus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Henry having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Astor Hunfredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soccer City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Hunfredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Henry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cornelio Claus came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Soccer City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Claus couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Soccer City FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LA RIBERA throughout the match.
