Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) A collision led to Girasoles FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gervasio Jerrald hit a great ball. LA RIBERA's Angel Hermon got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Elvio Dimo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Henry was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute of the match Gervasio Jerrald shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Henry showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Humberto Monte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Txilar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Elvio Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girasoles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Elvio Dimo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Henry. LA RIBERA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Dimo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Elvio Dimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Girasoles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in LA RIBERA's zone, Elvio Dimo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Henry came out of the goal and Elvio Dimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Dimo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Henry saved LA RIBERA from getting behind. Girasoles FC's Elvio Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes LA RIBERA got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Gimenez. David Gaitan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Pascual Guzman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA RIBERA. Vicente Henry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Dimo in the 59th minute of play. Nicolas Txilar charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Txilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes LA RIBERA got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Txilar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA RIBERA's goalkeeper Vicente Henry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Elvio Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Girasoles FC's Elvio Dimo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Henry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Teodosio Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Henry having to interfere. Alonzo Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Girasoles FC's Teodosio Mateus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Henry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Teodosio Mateus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Henry. Teodosio Mateus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 93rd minute, Teodosio Mateus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Henry was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Vicente Henry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Dimo in the 97th minute of play. Girasoles FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
