Freddy Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Saraiva having to interfere. Freddy Valentine might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Valentine ran back to his position shaking his head. Carolo Bizen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Zeledon Curcio made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Almir Travassos sent off a good shot on target. ReAl Coholicos's Allan Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Valentine in the 9th minute of play. Allan Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Bizen in the 13th minute of the match. Marcial Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, ReAl Coholicos's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Chabier came free, but Allan Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maximiliano Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Saraiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Chabier went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Jorge Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Claude. Baiona Encinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Jaunti during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. Yala's Zeledon Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. Alberto Jaunti hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Allan Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes ReAl Coholicos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Jaunti who took care of the corner kick. After the first half Yala were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baiona Encinas was the one to do the kick off. Gogo Chabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Chabier ran back to his position shaking his head. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Travassos in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Almir Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Freddy Valentine notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ReAl Coholicos's Allan Saraiva. Allan Saraiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gogo Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, ReAl Coholicos's goalkeeper Allan Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Chabier. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Bilintx in the 68th minute of the match. Maximiliano Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ReAl Coholicos made a substitution. Daniel Baldovino replaced Almir Travassos. In the 83rd minute, Gogo Chabier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Allan Saraiva. The goal made the score 0-3. Allan Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Chabier in the 89th minute of play. When Freddy Valentine came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Valentine couldn't finish the play. Freddy Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yala's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
