The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Xabat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Valery was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Benito Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Locaio in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Meteoro getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Haroldo Peyo hit a great ball. When Almeyra F.C.'s Celedonio Xabat in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meteoro's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Locaio in the 16th minute of the match. Meteoro's Benito Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Remir in the 20th minute of play. Almeyra F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Muno in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Celedonio Xabat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Valery quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Enegren got free with Cristo Colas in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Lucas Gonzalez got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Montay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Meteoro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Enegren to maneuver through the defense. The Almeyra F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Almeyra F.C.'s Adan Otsoko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Valery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Remir's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Benito Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Remir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute of the match Almeyra F.C. got a corner. Meteoro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Muno ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Danilo Remir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Valery quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benito Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Benito Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Locaio in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Godfredo Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Almeyra F.C.'s Adan Otsoko in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meteoro's goalie prevented a goal. Cristo Colas came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Meteoro's Noel Romero. But to his dismay, Noel Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 95th match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Indar to maneuver through the defense. Almeyra F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
