Adan Otsoko started the match with the kick off. Segundo Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes Meteoro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saverio Locaio who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Francisco Perico advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 12th minute. Cristo Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Romero in the 16th minute of play. When Meteoro's Noel Romero in 18 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cristo Colas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Adan Otsoko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Valery came out and tried to block the shot, but Adan Otsoko slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Otsoko got free with Benito Valery in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Otsoko in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Meteoro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saverio Locaio was slow to take the kick. During this time Almeyra F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Almeyra F.C.'s Saverio Locaio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Valery in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Meteoro's Benito Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Locaio in the 31st minute of play. Cristo Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Mannie in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Aaron Donostia got a free kick in the 35th minute. Godfredo Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Colas having to interfere. Benito Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Locaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Godfredo Mannie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristo Colas firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Meteoro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Otsoko in the 60th minute of play forced Meteoro's goalkeeper Benito Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Otsoko in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Montay in the 65th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Saverio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Remir took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Valery. Benito Valery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Montay in the 78th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Anselmo Salvatore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meteoro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almeyra F.C. the free kick. In the 80th minute, Anselmo Salvatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Almeyra F.C.'s Paolo Indar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paolo Indar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Almeyra F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paolo Indar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute, one of Almeyra F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Almeyra F.C.. The referee gave Meteoro a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Segundo Montay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas. 3-1. A collision led to Meteoro getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Oskar Enegren hit a great ball. If Danilo Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Danilo Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
