A nice corner shot did that Mauricio Galtero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristian Mergildo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to C.A. LANUS getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jorge Videla hit a great ball. Eustaquio Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaani Gómez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaani Gómez came free, but Eustaquio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adamantios Geronimidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Baraja Española FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Artaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Mergildo having to make a save. Baltasar Artaldo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cristian Mergildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baraja Española FC. Eustaquio Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaani Gómez in the 33rd minute of the match. Eustaquio Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Crespo in the 35th minute of play. Eustaquio Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adamantios Geronimidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Elvis Crespo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltasar Artaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Mergildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Baltasar Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvis Crespo to strike the kick off in the second half. Adamantios Geronimidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of C.A. LANUS booed when Baraja Española FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvis Crespo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Baraja Española FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Eustaquio Javiar had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Vaani Gómez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 68th minute of play. When Levente Végh came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the C.A. LANUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levente Végh couldn't finish the play. Baraja Española FC's Cosme Celio was substituted for Conrado Xabat. In the 81stth minute of the game Baltasar Artaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adamantios Geronimidis in the 82nd minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adamantios Geronimidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Eustaquio Javiar made a huge save. Baltasar Artaldo scored 1-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Mergildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baraja Española FC made a substitution. Jeremias Lopez replaced Baltasar Artaldo. 95 minutes into the match, Jeremias Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Mergildo. C.A. LANUS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Baraja Española FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C.A. LANUS for a fine match.
