In the 9th minute, Nueva Atlántis FC's Celso Lluciano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulino Mitxaut. Paulino Mitxaut yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qwinton Urtubia in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Gasteiz saved Nueva Atlántis FC from getting behind. Paulino Mitxaut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Federigo in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Nueva Atlántis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Bonifaco to maneuver through the defense. If Denis Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Nueva Atlántis FC defense, Fivos Martinakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Gasteiz. The Nueva Atlántis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Gasteiz should have stopped the shot. Denis Viviano took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Gasteiz. Cayetano Gasteiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Cayetano Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Viviano in the 29th minute of play. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Qwinton Urtubia sped through Nueva Atlántis FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cayetano Gasteiz. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Oier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulino Mitxaut was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Paulino Mitxaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Oier's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Cayetano Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qwinton Urtubia, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After the first half Smash FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51stth minute of the game Denis Viviano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nueva Atlántis FC's Cayetano Gasteiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Nueva Atlántis FC booed when Smash FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qwinton Urtubia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nueva Atlántis FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fulgencio Eyague hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Denis Viviano sped through Nueva Atlántis FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cayetano Gasteiz. 64 minutes into the match, Smash FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Oier came free, but Paulino Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Viviano in the 68th minute of play forced Nueva Atlántis FC's goalkeeper Cayetano Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nueva Atlántis FC's Cayetano Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fivos Martinakis in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuart Lees during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute of the match, Denis Viviano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cayetano Gasteiz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Atlántis FC's zone, Denis Viviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Gasteiz came out of the goal and Denis Viviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Lluciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Smash FC played a much better game than Nueva Atlántis FC and deserved their victory. The Nueva Atlántis FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
