Esteve Fidensio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute of the match, Ernesto Etxahun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Ureta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Esteve Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Rufio in the 34th minute of play. Modestio Constancio FC's Esteve Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Soin in the 38th minute of play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ladislao Soin sped through Modestio Constancio FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteve Fidensio. 42 minutes into the game, Cristian Rufio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Esteve Fidensio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 played minutes Reggina 1914 got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Coutinho. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Soin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Curcio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 74 minutes in the game, Ladislao Soin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Esteve Fidensio having to interfere. Agustin Ipar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Esteve Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Soin might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Fidensio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modestio Constancio FC's Esteve Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Ipar in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Modestio Constancio FC's Esteve Fidensio got control of the ball when Ladislao Soin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fermin Tabb fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modestio Constancio FC's protests and gave Fermin Tabb a yellow card for diving instead. Fermin Tabb hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Ladislao Soin sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Esteve Fidensio threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ladislao Soin this time. Abel Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Fidensio having to interfere.
