Elpidio Gabrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Herminio Donzel made a huge save. Herminio Donzel was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Tomas Oliviero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Oliviero really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Herminio Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Oliviero in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes Carioca FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejandro Marin who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Rencio in the 44th minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Epifanio Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grütly's Fidel Gomesano was substituted for Guido Olentzaro. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Franco to make the kick off. A collision led to Carioca FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Chico Andrade hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Elpidio Gabrio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grütly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Moises Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Herminio Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Gabrio in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Oliviero in the 69th minute of play forced Carioca FC's goalkeeper Herminio Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Franco in the 72nd minute of play. Mateo Laffitte struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Epifanio Boniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carioca FC. Herminio Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Oliviero in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Luciano Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carioca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Răzvan Buricea made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Valentin Rencio immediately put the ball in play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Carioca FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grütly.
