Budi Guci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Cesar Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Budi Guci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benigno Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored los capone's protests and gave Benigno Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to los capone getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Benigno Lehen hit a great ball. Alvaro Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Reynaldo Pudes made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Amato. MONCHOSFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 44th minute, Ladislao Horado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, MONCHOSFC's Tadeo Leobardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Budi Guci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half los capone were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Txomin made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Antonello Ogazón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Cesar Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Budi Guci. los capone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Budi Guci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Garcia in the 56th minute of play. Esteban Inautzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MONCHOSFC's Jorge Villagra was substituted for Dalmacio Lluques. Alvaro Amato made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ricardo Montae sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alvaro Amato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Budi Guci having to interfere. Silvio Furman hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Montae got free with Alvaro Amato in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Cesar Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MONCHOSFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Budi Guci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Txomin in the 84th minute of the match. Casimiro Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Montae scored 2-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Amato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
