An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado de Toledo in the 68th minute of play forced MONCHOSFC's goalkeeper Alvaro Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Unión were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after MONCHOSFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victorino Cristofor took the corner. The corner led Club Atlético Unión's Victorino Cristofor to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Amato despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MONCHOSFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
