Spectators: 7732 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leopoldo Baraquiel kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Leopoldo Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Malewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shi Qian Peng might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Garay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Qian Peng ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Qian Peng in the 7th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Julio Garay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toto Mansilla in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Malewicz saved Club Atlético Unión from getting behind. In the 10thth minute of the game Toto Mansilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Unión's Artur Malewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Shi Qian Peng dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Garay, 1-0. Shi Qian Peng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Toto Mansilla made a precise shot to the right of Artur Malewicz. Club Atlético Unión's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Julio Garay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shi Qian Peng in the 33rd minute. Alex Mendes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Club Atlético Unión's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 38th match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Sengrat to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes in the game Victorino Cristofor got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Shi Qian Peng made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Club Atlético Unión's Artur Malewicz got control of the ball when Vilmantas Girdauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Malewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toto Mansilla in the 58th minute of the match. When Shi Qian Peng came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Club Atlético Unión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shi Qian Peng couldn't finish the play. Artur Malewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toto Mansilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Unión's goalkeeper Artur Malewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toto Mansilla. Artur Malewicz made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Leopoldo Baraquiel sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Rosario Central were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
