An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Beltxe in the 5th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Vlado Delchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bruno Beltxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vlado Delchev was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Bartolo Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Perrando in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Fortinero hasta la muerte got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Egoitz. Bartolo Sayvion was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonio Perrando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Mino in the 25th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Vlado Delchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fortinero hasta la muerte's zone, Cornelio Guerrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Sayvion came out of the goal and Cornelio Guerrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alberto Tonete hit a great ball. Vlado Delchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Baumar in the 34th minute of the match. Fortinero hasta la muerte were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Newpi Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedicto Mino took the corner. Fortinero hasta la muerte's Benedicto Mino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vlado Delchev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Rico in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlado Delchev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vlado Delchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Rico in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Alberto Tonete cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bartolo Sayvion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Otsando. Newpi Academy's Vlado Delchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Beltxe in the 70th minute of play. Bartolo Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Fortinero hasta la muerte's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Lauren came free, but Bartolo Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tonete in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Raimundo Frasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortinero hasta la muerte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newpi Academy the free kick. Vlado Delchev made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Benedicto Mino sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Newpi Academy's Vlado Delchev got control of the ball when Ciriaco Baumar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Cornelio Guerrero got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th match minute, Newpi Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Fortinero hasta la muerte's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
