In the 5thth minute of the game Modesto Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Giraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Aquiles Urtsin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Giraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Modesto Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forever Tango's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Marcones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Gugovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Forever Tango's Modesto Marcones slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bayan Gugovski. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. Sixto Gaxan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A very nice done corner allowed Edelmiro Quintyn to score against Juan Giraldo in Forever Tango's goal. 1-2 after 20 minutes. Modesto Marcones in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bayan Gugovski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Juan Giraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darwin Núñez's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 27 minutes, Darwin Núñez made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Ediberto Sampaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ediberto Sampaio put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Giraldo. When Forever Tango's Modesto Marcones in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Merengue FC defense, Juan Raúl Amuchástegui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayan Gugovski. The Merengue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayan Gugovski should have stopped the shot. Narciso Chap's late challenge caught a Merengue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Chap helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

Forever Tango made a substitution. Modesto Txeru replaced Narciso Chap. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Urtsin to make the kick off. Elias Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bayan Gugovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darwin Núñez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Juan Giraldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Raimundo Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Giraldo was a little too slow when Aquiles Urtsin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-5. 67 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Marcones came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Modesto Marcones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Bayan Gugovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Giraldo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Aquiles Urtsin sent off a good shot on target. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Josu Valls got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bayan Gugovski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo got control of the ball when Ediberto Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85th play minutes Aquiles Urtsin shot 3-6, a short shot which went by Juan Giraldo and just under the crossbar into goal. 91 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Giraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Modesto Txeru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forever Tango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merengue FC the free kick.
