After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Donato Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunge's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Celio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Berto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Bunge's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Pająk came free, but Luis Lluis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Donato Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bunge's Luis Lluis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Morales in the 11th minute of play. Luis Lluis made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Álvaro Morales sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute of the match Tellier got a corner. Bunge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Janusz Pająk ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the last second Luis Lluis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tinko Nonev in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 16th minute Tellier were awarded a corner. Janusz Pająk went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 20th minute, Pablo Corral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tellier's Janusz Pająk got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Cecilio Handi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Apolo Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Lluis made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Artemio Gaxan sent off a good shot on target. Luis Lluis was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Lino Hermelando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lino Hermelando really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Cecilio Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tinko Nonev fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tellier's protests and gave Tinko Nonev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Tinko Nonev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janusz Pająk made a kick off. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Janusz Pająk sped through Bunge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis Lluis. Tellier's Evelio Firme was substituted for Janusz Pająk. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Vedillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Lluis was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The supporters of Tellier booed when Bunge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 73 minutes on the clock, Domingos Evis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 73rd minute, one of Bunge:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bunge. Luis Lluis had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Lino Hermelando's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Firme in the 78th minute of play forced Bunge's goalkeeper Luis Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bunge made a substitution. Gavino Vitin replaced Celso Froylan. Bunge's Jorge Asier was substituted for Cecilio Handi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Vedillo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Lluis saved Bunge from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Bunge's Donato Celio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Berto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tellier's zone, Erubiel Garci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Berto came out of the goal and Erubiel Garci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bunge booed when Tellier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tinko Nonev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Bunge's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Vedillo came free, but Luis Lluis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Tellier players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
