Rodrigo Bautista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Rainerio having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Bautista got free with Amadeo Rainerio in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Copérnico F.C.'s Amadeo Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Copérnico F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Lätte to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Bautista in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palermo AFC's Severino Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Montrell in the 22nd minute of play. Rodrigo Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Rainerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. Severino Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Montrell in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Alvaro Montrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Bautista in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Rainerio saved Copérnico F.C. from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Rodrigo Bautista put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeo Rainerio. Rodrigo Bautista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes Copérnico F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Domiku who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Palermo AFC's Severo Leheren to fire away a dangerous shot which Amadeo Rainerio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcelo Domiku hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Bautista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Bautista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Rainerio. Copérnico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 55 played minutes Copérnico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Brais. When Palermo AFC's Rodrigo Bautista in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rodrigo Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Rainerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amadeo Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Bautista went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Palermo AFC made a substitution. Jesus Dalmu replaced Egon Lätte. Jesus Dalmu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Bautista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Rainerio. Copérnico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 74 minutes into the game, Palermo AFC's Rodrigo Bautista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Rainerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Rodrigo Brais hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Palermo AFC's Rodrigo Bautista got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Bautista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Rainerio was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Rodrigo Bautista scored 7-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Rainerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesus Dalmu might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Rainerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 92nd minute, Rodrigo Bautista made a precise shot to the right of Amadeo Rainerio. Copérnico F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Copérnico F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
