Eugenio Urbes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Goizeder in the 9th minute of play. Eugenio Urbes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Girotti in the 11th minute. Maurinho Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Angel Cidro might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Urbes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Cidro ran back to his position shaking his head. Federico Girotti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Urbes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Bora18's Maximiliano Argi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurinho Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Girotti during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 49 played minutes Alejandra got a freekick which was hit by Federico Girotti. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislav Buznikin was the one to do the kick off.
