LA IMPRENTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liu Chang Hong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Sirius Dog's Terje Sundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Mark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Arild Berdal hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Sepúlveda got free with Jeronimo Millan in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, LA IMPRENTA's Alvaro Loria seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alvaro Loria the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LA IMPRENTA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alvaro Loria had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bernardino Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Garaona in the 23rd minute of the match. Sirius Dog's Jeronimo Millan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sirius Dog from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes of play, Sirius Dog's Norberto Cugat made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardino Mark was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Garaona in the 47th minute of play forced LA IMPRENTA's goalkeeper Bernardino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Espiridion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terje Sundberg got free with Bernardino Mark in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Liu Chang Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Gervasio Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sirius Dog walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
