Angelillo Veloz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Aguila Romana's Jardel Cabezon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Raphael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aguila Romana's Modesto Lander was substituted for Ramon Platon. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Iguazú's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcin Prosowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Aguila Romana's players had a chance to rest. Sebastian Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jardel Cabezon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sebastian Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Iguazú's Inocencio Lluterio got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aguila Romana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
