The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andres Tavio made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Donato Shantala sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Kusko came free, but Andres Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Kusko in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Sacachispas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Madeo to maneuver through the defense. Sacachispas FC's Ignacio Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Berterame in the 14th minute of play. Ignacio Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Fontanini in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Centenario Bohemio's Andres Tavio got control of the ball when Donato Shantala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andres Tavio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Kusko's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Donato Shantalas short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Andres Tavio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eleuterio Kusko hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sacachispas FC booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Franco Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centenario Bohemio's protests and gave Franco Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Franco Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Tavio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Herminio Totakoxe. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Berterame stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Severo Maju got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Mauro Fontanini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Eleuterio Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Shantala took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andres Tavio. Andres Tavio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 75 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Shantala came free, but Andres Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Centenario Bohemio were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
