After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ruben Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Damario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Romo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Berart got free with Silvestre Fidencio in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Shantala to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Jago in the 52nd minute of the match. Concetto Guarrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ignacio Romo made a huge save.
