Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Perez in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Octavio Jakes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Esmeralda AFC's Eloy Calvino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Tebaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isaias Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Dalli in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Kong Kun Xu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Octavio Jakes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Armani. The goal made the score 1-1. 39 minutes into the game, David Banegas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Isaias Tebaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pastor Benvido made a great header on Falckner's corner, it was just that Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Esmeralda AFC were leading 1-2. Falckner's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Banegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The corner ended in Devidatta Vendetta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Falckner's Isaias Tebaldo did a great save. When Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
