Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 6th minute of play forced Falckner's goalkeeper Isaias Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LCPP's Lennart Kvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Ponciano in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Luis Alberto Spinetta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falckner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to LCPP getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mario Alberto Kempes hit a great ball. The supporters of LCPP booed when Falckner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Toloza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Alberto Spinetta got free with Lennart Kvist in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Falckner booed when LCPP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Polenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes, Falckner's Franco Toloza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lennart Kvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Falckner reached it. Lennart Kvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Kvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Toloza in the 33rd minute of play. Sándor Medgyesi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Falckner's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio-Paul Caniggia came free, but Isaias Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Jakes had several of the LCPP's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Lennart Kvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Godfredo Musko scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Tebaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorino Perez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 43rd playminute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Alberto Kempes to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Victorino Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lennart Kvist was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. LCPP made a substitution. Ataka Krieser replaced Godfredo Musko. In the 64th minute, Evaristo Ponciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falckner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Isaias Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Falckner's goal looked a bit too open when Ataka Krieser came free, but Isaias Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Kvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Victorino Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lennart Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falckner's Cosme Cesaro was substituted for Santiago Gentiletti. LCPP made a substitution. Francisco Garaona replaced Claudio-Paul Caniggia. 79 minutes into the game, Falckner's Victorino Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennart Kvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Evaristo Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaias Tebaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataka Krieser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Falckner fans cheered their team off the field, for while LCPP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
